I'm not a photographer.
I'm an observer, a student, and hopefully a storyteller.
My first camera was a Kodak Ektralite that I had as a kid in the mid 80s. In early 2001, I bought my first digital camera, a 2MP digital HP. But it was my iPhone 3GS in 2009 that really sparked my interest in taking pictures.
In May 2022 I bought my first "real" camera, a Fuji X-T3, and in November 2023, I traded it in for an X-T5. I mostly gravitate toward street photography and architecture. I love the beauty in design and the stories in the history. Being challenged to find new perspectives and bring them to life in color, light, and shadows. Learning a new language of ISO, aperture, and shutter speed. Creating something new from what already was.
This site is mostly for me, if I'm being completely honest. It's a landing page for the photos I've taken and a documentation of my evolution. I'm still finding my voice, but I can't wait for the stories yet to tell.
If you're reading this, thank you. I hope you enjoy poking around, and if you'd like to be internet friends, feel free to follow me on Instagram.
